To
HR or Recruitment Manager, As
a broadband construction professional, I have directly managed thousands of
miles of new and rebuild OSP and ISP construction throughout the United
States. This includes all facets of make-ready engineering, aerial and
underground construction, fiber and coax design, power design, and fiber
splicing and network turn-up. It also includes business fiber network design,
last mile and ISP construction, as well as commercial Wi-Fi design and
installation. I
have successfully managed multiple construction projects maintaining in
excess of 300 direct employees and numerous sub-contractors. On most of these
projects I had full P&L responsibility for projects ranging from one to
one hundred million dollars. In
this capacity I also worked with a software development firm to design web
based proprietary software for use by employees and remotely located
managers. The software was designed to provide secure, yet easily accessible
real time tracking of productivity and labor expense, purchase orders and
invoicing, fleet maintenance, material inventory and usage, CPE tracking, as
well as tool and asset tracking. I also developed automated reports for each
function. One
of my strongest assets is an ability to quickly develop positive
relationships with a variety of stakeholders, particularly commercial
property owners and managers. On numerous occasions, my ability to give them
a sense of confidence that their project is in good hands has salvaged
projects that otherwise may have never gotten off the ground. Other
responsibilities have included capital and expense forecasting, budget
analysis, safety compliance and training, regulatory oversight, customer
relations, technical training and employee development. Thank
you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Brad

359-4059 Brad.Adams@att.net Objective:
Seeking new
challenges and an opportunity to more fully utilize my experience in the
broadband industry. Toward that end, I am looking for a company that has the
structure, capital and aggressive growth plans that would allow for that
possibility. Skills:
Expert
in all aspects of urban OSP and ISP construction. This includes the
permitting and planning process, directional drilling, rocksaw, remediation
and asphalt/concrete restoration. For ISP it also includes high-rise construction
methods, code compliance and inspection. Proficient
in aerial make-ready as well as substructure engineering, from initial
walk-out and mapping, to permitting, to the as-built delivery. Proficient
with most industry software including data base programs such as Filemaker
and Access, various Fiber Management and design programs such as ACAD and
Lode Data, and of course Excel and Word. Management
skills include an excellent ability to work cross-functionally. I have
developed a reputation as someone who always works cooperatively and with a
focus on the success of the organization or project as a whole, not on the
individual. Work
History: Director
of Operations, Turn Around Communications Inc. (TACI), 2007 to present. Since
joining TACI in 2007, I have helped guide the company from what could best be
described as a precarious market position, to become one of the more
successful contractors in southern CA. This involved creating an atmosphere
of increased accountability to our customers and each other by developing
procedures and protocols that have been communicated throughout the
organization. By taking a direct leadership role with our customers,
particularly the Time Warner Business Class division, I gained their
confidence to the point that we became their primary contractor. We were
entrusted with the exclusive rollout of their network expansion platforms for
DIA and RFOG services. Area
Manager, Pauley Construction 2005-2007. Responsible for construction of
Verizon FIOS system in desert cities and Inland Empire. With Pauley I was
primarily responsible for oversight of substructure construction in desert
and urban environments. District
Manager, Mastec 2002-2005. Responsible for OSP rebuilds for Comcast/ATT in
the Bay Area and Time Warner in southern CA. MasTec decided to cease
broadband operations in California due to regulatory and cost concerns. Vice
President, Can-Am Construction 1996-2002. Primary rebuilds included Charter,
Comcast and TCI systems in Portland, Seattle, and various southern CA cities. Technical
Manager, The Fishel Company 1992-1996 Responsible for HFC upgrade for Viacom
in Nashville, TN. Plant
Manager, Cencom Cable (currently Charter) 1988-1991. Responsible for OSP
maintenance, service and installations in Riverside, CA. References: Patrick
